Valorie Piper

Valorie Piper is Executive Director for the National Center for Supply Chain Automation. Valorie has served in a number of important roles in higher education over the past six years and prior to that worked 17 years in the mortgage/finance industry and three years in information technology. Her higher education career started in 2014 at the Bioengineering Department at the University of California Riverside. She served as Executive Administrative Assistant to 12 faculty Principal Investigators, who managed over $70 million in NSF, HSI and NIH grant funding. Her academic credentials include a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with minors in accounting and finance. She possesses vast experience in the areas of project, budget and grant management, and is well-equipped to provide leadership to the ongoing work of the center.
